the name is the game

Here's a comic I made for Jeepney Press about names. There are Japanese names that sound Tagalog, and you'd be surprised to find out that some would actually be so cool!

Likewise, Japanese names also sound very Pinoy... a sad case for Tae or Taeko-san. In case you are laughing about this poor girl's plight in case she decides to set foot in Pinas, well you'd better think about introducing yourself in Japanese if your name happens to be "CHIN-CHIN". That in Nihonggo translates as a little tyke's BUTOTOY!

Prez! As you know, Mommy's birthday is this December and we were thinking of sending invitations "komiks"-style and your name popped up. Do you have time to come up with one? Sabi ko kay Twinkle (who thought of you) eh wag kang abalahin kse busy ka pero nakita ko sa isang post mo na one and a half months ang bakasyon mo! So, what do you think? And, can you come home? - 'te jingle

Sure, I can do it! Pwedeng collaboration namin ni Chelsea para naman sa Lola nya! Ikaw ang gumawa ng storyline - gawan natin ng storyboard... madali! Yung pag-uwi ko sa Dec. malabo nga lang sa ngayon, sorry.
